ABS Associated Business Services has been around since 1994, when it was founded by two enterprising young military wives looking to expand their career horizons and synergize their early grasp of computer technology with its then-emerging applications for the small business / entrepreneurial environment. Fusing this foundation with exceptional administrative, language and, most especially, professional writing skills, the business has thrived and grown to accommodate a discerning market of professionals seeking to broaden the scope of their endeavors. Over the years, we have provided customized personal support services to numerous self-employed-style business owners and entrepreneurs including contractors, pool cleaners, authors, and even teddy bear collectors. Our database services have supported a variety of commercial business needs on a task-by-task basis as well as serviced numerous volunteer and nonprofit organizations.

 

Over the years, the résumé services segment of ABS Associated Business Services has grown exponentially, in response to the increasing trend toward competition in the employment arena. In today's job market, virtually everyone needs a sharp, tailored, professionally worded and pleasantly presented résumé, regardless of their occupational level or the jobs to which they intend to apply. We pride ourselves on flexibility in servicing the gamut of résumé needs from entry-level positions to executive-level business leadership and even specialties such as the academically focused curriculum vitae. This flexibility and customer focus is founded on an interactive business relationship. Typically, résumé projects start with the client taking the opportunity to schedule a personal interview and face-to-face discussion.

 

Over the years, ownership has devolved to a single founder who is the current principal owner / operator, Patricia J. Matthews. She is augmented by a flexible part-time staff of clerical, administrative, information-technology and editing-support personnel. The workforce is rounded out by Cricket, who holds a dual position as daily public-relations coordinator and after-hours security manager.
